Meet Ollie
Hello!

I'm Cleo and
I absolutely love dogs!

I am currently training to be a Clinical Canine Behaviourist to fulfil my life long dream of working with dogs. I started Dog Walks as, not only is walking one of my favourite past times, but getting to spend time with different breeds, learning about their idiosyncrasies and temperaments at the same time is brilliant! No two dogs are the same and this is what I love the most.

I work with a small, deliberately limited group of clients so that every dog's needs are met and every puppy gets the patient introduction to the world they deserve.

Walks will be varied, fun and energetic with enrichment tailored to your dog's needs. I have over 10 years of experience, am fully insured and DBS-checked. I can't wait to meet your dog!

What people are saying

Real words from the humans of dogs and puppies I look after every week.

Excellent

"As the owner of two nervous rescues it was critical to me to find a trustworthy 'friend' to take them out on walks. Cleo has been excellent, she is reliable, trustworthy and a welcome calm influence on my dogs. Would thoroughly recommend."
SarahTeddy & Lucy · Didsbury · March 2026

Life Saver!

"I became unwell 4 months ago and Cleo has been walking my dog daily. I cannot recommend her highly enough: she is professional, empathetic and responsible, an excellent communicator with both me and my dog. She clearly understands and loves dogs — I have no hesitation in recommending her."
Jen Scott-RussellBuster · Chorlton · April 2026

Great dog walker!

"My dog adores Cleo. She has got to know him really well and he gets so excited to see her. He is a Parsons Jack Russell full of personality and she has integrated him into the group perfectly. Would definitely recommend."
JohnGilbert · Chorlton · May 2026

Eric loves her walks!

"Eric has been walked by Cleo for a while now and greatly looks forward to it every time. Lots of energy and variation keep her interested and she always comes back worn out. Best dog walker I've had by far."
DanEric · Stretford · February 2026

Brilliant!

"Cleo has been walking Jasper, our family's cocker spaniel, for some time now and I find her to be very friendly, honest and a lovely lady. She has a gift with dogs — making Jasper happy and relaxed — and I know he's had a good walk as he's so calm and happy when he returns. I know he loves his walks. I would recommend Cleo to anyone thinking of using her."

Before you book

Common questions

Quick answers to what most owners ask before their first walk.

How does my dog's first walk work?+

Always a free 15-minute meet first — at your home or your local park. No commitment. I'll meet your dog, learn your routine, get keys sorted and answer any questions. Most owners book their first walk within a day or two of meeting.

What if my dog doesn't get on with other dogs?+

Then we do solo walks. Some dogs aren't social and that's completely fine — they still deserve a brilliant walk. I never force a dog into a group they're not comfortable in. Honest assessment at our meet & greet.

Do you take a house key? Is that safe?+

Yes. Keys are coded (no address or name attached), stored in a locked box, and never carried with anything that could identify your property. I'm fully insured and DBS-checked.

What if it's raining or freezing?+

Walks go ahead. Dogs need exercise in all weathers — and most love the rain. I carry towels and dry every dog before drop-off. In extreme heat (over 25°C), walks move to early mornings and stay shorter. Snow and ice are fine — shorter routes on safe ground.

What's your cancellation policy?+

Cancel by 8pm the night before — no charge. Same-day cancellations are 50%, only because the slot is held for your dog and rarely fillable last minute. Genuine emergencies are always free.

Will my dog be on or off lead?+

Your call. I default to on-lead for new dogs until I know their recall is solid and you've given the green light in writing. Off-lead only happens in safe spots with dogs who come back every time.

How do I book?+

WhatsApp is fastest: 07380 367 565. Or use the contact form below. I'll usually reply within an hour during walking hours, or the same evening.
