Regular pickups in M16. Walks at nearby Turn Moss and Chorlton Ees, where dogs can properly run.
Old Trafford (M16) sits 10 minutes from my base in Chorlton — a quick pickup, and straight into a proper walk.
Here's the honest bit: the small park loops around Old Trafford aren't great for dogs who need a proper run. So unless you want a local pavement walk, I'll usually drive Old Trafford dogs the 10 minutes to Turn Moss Playing Fields or Chorlton Ees Nature Reserve, where they get genuine open space and off-lead recall practice. Longford Park (Stretford border) is the local exception — 51 acres, worth using for southern M16 postcodes.
Old Trafford is 10 minutes from my Chorlton base. For a quick local loop we head to Seymour Park or the Bridgewater Canal path — for a proper run, we drive out to Turn Moss or the Chorlton parks.
The local M16 anchor. Open grass, mature trees, a decent loop for a shorter local walk. On-lead near the play area, off-lead across the field. Perfect for a settle-walk or a quick top-up between longer sessions.
The towpath running through M16 down towards Stretford. A brisk, straight, on-lead route — ideal for loose-lead work with high-energy dogs. Miles of it if you want them, and quiet outside rush hour.
Where most of my Old Trafford dogs end up on group-walk days. 10 minutes down the road. Big, flat, sociable off-lead crowd, wide open sightlines.
Hidden loop into the Mersey Valley. Off-lead heaven for confident recall dogs. Riverside, wooded, almost no one knows about it.
10-15 minutes. A 12-hectare lake with a circular path. A regular for high-energy dogs.
15 minutes into Stretford. 51 acres of woodland, lawn and ponds — worth using for dogs who need varied enrichment.
Same services I run across all of South Manchester — walks, puppy walks, companion visits and one-to-one training. Old Trafford clients get the same pickups, the same photo updates, the same small-pack walks.
60-minute walks in small groups (max 6 dogs). I match dogs by energy and temperament — your dog isn't just shoved in with whoever's around.
For nervous, reactive, recovering or senior dogs who need one-to-one attention. Same hour, same updates, just no other dogs.
Short walks for under-6-month puppies. Lead training, socialisation, and a tired pup at the end. Builds towards full walks as they grow.
I cover the eight postcodes below. If you're on the edge of my radius, ask anyway — I sometimes take on neighbouring streets if the route works.
